The Earle Baum Center of the Blind is located on 17 rural acres just west of Santa Rosa. We're in search of volunteers who are passionate about gardening to help us maintain our organic community garden and trail walks. Volunteers will assist with general garden duties, mowing, pruning, and harvesting our apple and pear crops. We'd love to find someone who can help maintain our irrigation system (we will provide training if needed), and clean the outdoor fountain, bird bath and outdoor seating areas. Hours are flexible and will vary by season. As a member of our volunteer garden team, you will work directly with our Property Manager to keep our grounds beautiful, and free of trip hazards for blind and low-vision students.
