VOLUNTEERS - THE HEART OF THE HOSPICE TEAM!

What is the hospice patient care volunteer’s role? We depend on our hospice volunteers to assist in providing support and care to our patients and their families during this time in their life. Our volunteers offer support, companionship and practical care to our patients. Whether it’s running errands, sitting with a patient to provide relief for the care giver, reading to a patient, helping a patient write in his/her journal or providing the power of presence. As a hospice volunteer, you will truly make a difference.

Volunteers can also provide: Administrative Support Bereavement Support Special Projects Pet Therapy
