Wish For Our Heroes (W4OH) NEEDS your help at Indiananoplis Motor Speedway (IMS) on 24-26 May. Enjoy a day at the track, and/or a concert all while helping our troops battling hardships. Contact Michelle Rode if interested:

24 May Carb Day Concert (11am-5pm roughly)

Free entry to the Foreigner Concert after helping.

25 May Legends Day Concert (11am-5pm roughly)

Free entry to the Zac Brown Band Concert after helping.

If volunteering 5/24 and 5/25 at the concerts: volunteers please arrive at IMS around 11:00 am Meet the W4OH team to get a ticket for access Shuttle to the midway and meet at the Merchandising Tent We'll collect when the gates open for the concert until (usually) the main event is getting ready to start. Approximately 4-6 hours. We provide a W4OH t-shirt. Volunteers should plan on providing their own food and drink, weather appropriate attire, sunscreen, etc. (although we will have bottled water) The volunteers may then stay for the concert. We do have all day opportunities for each day in addition to the fundraising prior to the concerts too.


All volunteers receive a free W4OH T shirt and every dollar raised goes to support local troops!

All volunteers will have free parking and entry to the track and the concerts.

Mission Statement

Incorporated in 2009, Wish For Our Heroes Inc is a non-profit organization, whose sole purpose is to grant wishes for our active-duty military, veterans and their families. W4OH strives to relieve the burdens of family separation, re-integration for deployed soldiers, hardship circumstances, and other means of assistance not covered by existing military charities.

Description

Wish for our Heroes-Colorado focuses on Colorado soldiers and veterans in need, but also helps soldiers in the NorthWest Region.

Wish for our Heroes Inc has large bases of support in Texas, Indiana and Florida. A new chapter is also starting in Virginia.

Wish for our Heroes has only a 5% overhead for the charity, which means 95% of all money raised is given directly back to soldiers and veterans in need. It is all volunteer organization across the nation with only one paid employee.

We work on small wishes, car repairs, basic needs, and also large wishes including working with the likes of the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, Colorado Avalanche and Oakland Raiders
