Parts of Peace serves families in Baltimore that earn too much to receive benefits, but enough to consistently make ends meet and support their families. Help Parts of Peace serve low income families in Baltimore by hosting a table at local Farmer's Markets. We are seeking volunteers to host a Parts of Peace table once a week for 3-4 hours. Farmers Market volunteers will be responsible for:

  • Showing up to the Farmers Market on time on their assigned day & time
  • Staying for the entire time (about 3-4 hours)
  • Setting up the table (arranging table cloth, brochures and stickers - all provided)
  • Talking to interested market goers about our work (we will give you a few talking points)
  • Collecting donations ( non-perishable foods or hygiene items)
  • Committing to at least 2 volunteer days
    * Volunteers are welcome to bring along a partner

Parts of Peace will in turn provide volunteers with the following:

  • A brief volunteer orientation
  • Volunteer training and support
  • A FREE Parts of Peace hat
  • A FREE Parts of Peace t-shirt (for volunteers that volunteer for 5 days)
  • A FREE MEAL at each market

The following days & times are available for volunteering (with zipcodes in parenthesis):

  • Tuesdays 10- 2 (21211) - Rotunda Farmers Market
  • Wednesdays 3pm - 7:30pm) (21215) - Druid Hill Farmers Market

Dates available are:

Tuesdays: June 4, June 18, July 23, August 20, September 3, October 1
Wednesdays: July 24, July 31, August 21, August 28, September 18, September 25
