Military Entrance Processing Station personnel act as a liaison to determine the best means for the Red Cross to connect with the recruits and families while they are processing at the Military Entrance Processing Station. MEPS volunteers will provide Red Cross preparedness information to the recruits and their families. They will also engage with the recruits to complete family contact cards and ensure cards are processed.
Qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
* Enjoy working directly with others
* Able to work with diverse populations
* Recommended: knowledge/experience with the military
Time commitments:
4 hours per week
