NVDA is a volunteer program that provides a reassuring presence to Veterans who would otherwise be alone at the end of life. Volunteers are contacted as needed to provide bedside vigil, and can also provide supportive visits to Veterans in the Hospice Unit.

- Flexible with scheduled commitment. Locations: Hines VA - Hines; Lovell FHCC - North Chicago
- Must be able to achieve a successful VA background and physically go to the VA to get a fingerprinted. Must get a TB test at the VA and return 2 days later to have the TB test read.
