South Valley is a domestic violence shelter in West Jordan Utah. Our goal is to empower those effected by domestic violence and ensuring they have a safe place to go.

During the summer we like to hold our own very fun summer camp for all of the children here. We plan on doing something everyday of the week. We have activities covered for Tuesdays and Thursday but the rest of the days we need help with. We would ask that the volunteer(s) that sign up can commit to multiple days. Such as every or most Monday's etc. though June to the first couple weeks in August. If you have children and would like to bring them with we would love to have them come and participate as well.

The plan is as followed:

Monday: Sports/Outside Day For this we are looking for someone or a group of people to come and do a sport or outside game with the children this one is pretty flexible and we do have some supplies here. We also are up for other games outside like hide and seek and tag.

Tuesday: STEM education day. For this we are looking for a teacher who specializes in STEM activities and could host an activity with the children once a week.

Wednesday: Water Day For this we are looking for someone or a group to do fun water activities outside with the children. Such as Water balloon fights, slip n slides, water guns etc.

Thursday: Craft Day, we are looking for a group or person to host a craft once a week with our children the craft is up to you just needs to be something for about 12 children.

Friday: Game day For this we are really flexible as far as what the game is. Just something fun the kids can do, such as a board game or group game.
