Bilingual Storytime Assistant is needed for our Libros y Amigos storytime on Tuesday mornings each week when programs are scheduled. This volunteer must speak Spanish and be available during the Tuesday morning programs. They will meet with leader 30 minutes before class to practice reading books, songs, and rhymes, and assist with room set up. Greet children in Spanish as they arrive. Take turns with leader as bilingual books are read in both English and Spanish; same with songs and rhymes. Will assist with distributing interactive items (scarves, egg shakers, etc.) to children. Stay 15 minutes after class to assist with clean up.
