Hamilton Elementary School is planning its own Festival of Nations , and we are looking for performers and/or presenters to be a part of the day and/or evening festivities on June 3rd, 2019 . You would be welcome for one or both parts of the day.
First, there will be a series of presentations in the afternoon. We are in need of ushers/greeters (12-1:00 pm), and room hosts (12:30-3:15 pm) to either support a speaker/presenter coming in OR to facilitate a pre-planned activity with students (four 25 minute sessions).
Second, there will be an evening event (volunteers needed from 5:00-7:05 pm). We will need people to serve dinner and room hosts. Once again, you would either support a speaker/presenter coming in OR to facilitate a pre-planned activity with students. The difference is this will be open house style.

Description
Hamilton Elementary School is located in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The school was built and opened in the fall of 1965. Hamilton was built adjacent to the original "Camp Guy Robinson." It was originally built to provide instruction for K-6 students.
The Hamilton enrollment area, as well as the entire city of Coon Rapids, has undergone many changes over the years. The addition of Highway 10, coupled with a new mall district and new home construction has changed Hamilton into a neighborhood school. Hamilton enrollment averages about 450 students for Kindergarten to Grade 5.
