Our Day Services program is looking for someone who enjoys spending time in the community. We could truly benefit from having someone who could assist our staff with facilitating community integration classes by pushing a wheelchair, socializing with our participants and encouraging community integration. The focus of our classes is on improving Physical, Social Emotional, Cognitive Leisure Skills/Education It would be ideal if you could commit to one outing per week but we can be flexible.

We could use a volunteer for outings from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Various group outings include Supply Shopping, Hiking/Mall Walking, Horse Sense for Special Riders, Dance Academy, Public Library, YMCA, La Crosse Wellness Center, Community Safety. If any of these topics are of interest to you, please consider volunteering your time supporting people with differing abilities. You will make a difference in their lives and may just benefit in return!
