Each year, the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky fits the helmets that the city of Louisville provides to those who will be biking in the Memorial Day Hike, Bike, and Paddle. We will fit helmets until the event starts at 10 AM or unless the supply of helmets is exhausted.

To serve those affected by brain injury through advocacy, education, prevention, research, service, and support.

Description

Volunteers with the Family Support Network will be trained to provide aide to the families and survivors currently at crisis in dealing with brain injury. Our volunteers will be a listening ear in the familie's time of need. All volunteers will receive a resource catalog to share with families. Volunteers are required to complete training before linkage with a family occurs.
