We recognize students interested in becoming health care professionals need experience. Hospice is a great place for them to give to others. We provide the necessary hours for medical students to complete their coursework. The volunteer has the opportunity to impact our patients and their own lives as well. The direct practice includes visiting patients and their families, providing support. socialization, companionship, reading, playing games, life review, and active listening.
