VOLUNTEER DESRCIPTION:
Responsible for designing and constructing HPOG’s web pages/sites which include incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques and provide ongoing design and maintenance of the website and utilize ASP pages, HTML code, and graphics software. This position has no set office hours.
DUTIES:
- Plan site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality
- Develop site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content
- Develop site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
- Prepare site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links
- Establish locatability by registering with search engines
- Upgrade site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links
- Protect site by designing and installing security precautions
- Maintain site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions

Description
The Health Partnership of Georgia, Inc. (HPOG) is an HIV service organization serving metro-Atlanta and the surrounding areas. HPOG is the sister organization of The Partnership of Greater Atlanta, LLC (a Medicaid contracted organization providing HIV case management and other support services since 2014). The Health Partnership of Georgia, Inc. strives tirelessly to help those impacted by HIV, mental illness, substance abuse, hunger and homelessness. Since 2013, as a pro bono organization (now nonprofit) HPOG has assisted 100s of individuals. We know there is much more work needed in our communities. HPOG cannot do it alone! We are looking for dedicated volunteers with a heart to serve and a willingness to align with a developing and growing organization.
