Pacific Symphony is the premier Symphonic orchestra in Orange County, CA. Through exceptional musical performances, educational opportunities and community programming, Pacific Symphony inspires, engages and serves the Orange County community and Southern California region.

Like all nonprofit organizations, we need volunteers! We seek volunteers who are interested in giving back to the community while helping to spread the magic of orchestral music. Our volunteers enthusiastically advance the mission of Pacific Symphony through the contributions of their time, talent, resources, and ambassadorship. Our volunteers are the window to the Symphonic community and are a reflection of the diversity of interests and backgrounds that are found in Orange County.

Photo Booth Lead Volunteer

Pacific Symphony is looking for a leader to take charge of the Photo Booth on a regular basis. This volunteer will learn all the technical elements of the photo process, being responsible for set-up, breakdown, including troubleshooting of the Photo Booth. Familiarity with tech components is preferred. On evenings when the Photo Booth is being used, additional volunteers will support the Photo Booth Leader by assisting him/her with collecting names/emails, organizing the line for the photo booth during performances and helping to serve as many patrons as possible. The Photo Booth Lead Volunteer reports to the Director of Audience Engagement.

If you have time, experience and a desire to make a difference with the Symphony, we want to hear from you!

Mission Statement

Pacific Symphony inspires, engages and serves Orange County through exceptional music performances, and education and community programming.

Pacific Symphony is an organization that aims to inspire, engage, and serve Orange County through exceptional music performances, education, and community programming. We lead a renaissance in the appreciation, accessibility, and impact of classical music in Orange County and the region, through creativity, responsiveness, and innovation. Led by Musical Director Carl St. Clair and founded in 1978 as a collaboration between California State University Fullerton (CSUF) and North Orange County community leaders, led by Marcy Mulville, Pacific Symphony is the largest orchestra formed in the United States in the last 50 years. It is recognized as an outstanding ensemble making strides on both the national and international scenes, as well as in its own community of Orange County California. Presenting more than 100 concerts annually, and a rich array of award-winning education and community programs, Pacific Symphony reaches more than 300,000 people each year, from school children to senior citizens.
