parkrun is world-wide, weekly, free, organized, timed 5k that takes place every Saturday at 8am
The positions include:
Event Timers
Token Assistants
Barcode Scanners
Course Marshals
Trailsweeper
Photographer
These positions require no advanced training and you can come as many times as you would like! Please register online prior to the event (ONLY ONCE) at https://www.parkrun.us/register/
parkrun is welcome to walkers and runners, but you do not have to be either to volunteer! Most positions are standing still in one position!

Stark Parks proudly manages 15 parks, 4 lakes, and over 120 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, totaling over 8,000 acres of land. Stark Parks prides itself on over 50 years of innovation, creativity, and serving the Stark County community with the best parks, trails, and resources available. From the modest beginnings to the recent times of rapid growth, the goal remains to offer places and opportunities for you to enjoy and get your park on.
