Volunteers are the heartbeat of the American Red Cross! Help support the American Red Cross mission by assisting the Volunteer Services department in building a presence in local communities through community events, community groups, and social networks.
Ways to get involved:
Outreach - Appointment Setter & Researcher
Research various community organizations, civic groups, etc. for volunteer recruitment & outreach
Make contact with organizations, community groups, businesses, etc. to schedule a meeting to discuss Red Cross volunteer opportunities
Research community events & fairs
Can volunteer from home with access to phone, computer, & internet
Presenter
Present the Red Cross Mission and volunteer opportunities to organizations that invited us
Attend community events & fairs
Poster Poster
Take volunteer recruitment flyers to various public locations within a community
Seek permission and post the posters
