Volunteers are the heartbeat of the American Red Cross! Help support the American Red Cross mission by assisting the Volunteer Services department in building a presence in local communities through community events, community groups, and social networks.
Ways to get involved:
Outreach - Appointment Setter & Researcher
Research various community organizations, civic groups, etc. for volunteer recruitment & outreach
Make contact wiht organizations, community businesses, etc. to schedule a meeting to discuss Red Cross volunteer opportunities
Research community events & fairs
Can volunteer from home with access to internet, computer, & phone
Presenter
Present the Red Cross Mission and volunteer opportunities to organizations that invite us to speak
Attend community events & fairs

Take volunteer recruitment flyers to various locations within a community
Seek permission and post the posters
