Sports: Wheelchair Softball Tryouts - Saturday, April 27, 8:00am-4:00pm, and Sunday, April 28, 8:00 am-2:00 pm River Cats Independence Field, 2450 Meadowview Road (corner of 24th and Meadowview) This is not Raley Field! Assist the athletes on the field, set up and clean-up of the ball field. You may be asked to use a sport wheelchair and play the game. Please bring work gloves. 5 volunteers needed. You will be working with participants with physical disabilities, so lifting and transferring may be needed. The most important job our volunteers have is to interact positively and socialize with participants in Access Leisure activities so that they and you will have fun. Minimum age to volunteer is 14.
