Our bereavement volunteers conduct phone calls to families that are healing after the loss of a loved one. The bereavement volunteer call the bereaved family member from the comfort of their own home and speak with them in depth about various topics that may include the loss of their family member, personal experiences, and adjustments after the loss that the bereaved person may be going through. Virtual volunteers can also make home goods for the families and patients and deliver them or another employee or volunteer can pick the items up and delivery them to the patients. Bereavement volunteers make a world of difference for our families and patients. We always serve our patients with the greatest care and love.
