VOLUNTEER ACCOUNTANT NEEDED
Seeking an un-paid volunteer for GlobalGirl Media, a non-profit initiative that trains girls in developing countries and under-served US communities in new media citizen journalism.
We are currently re-vamping our accounting system on Quikbooks and need help as well to set up payroll via Quikbooks
We are based in Los Angeles, CA, however the bulk of the work could be done remotely.
Your role will include (given your skill level and interest)
- Quikbooks updating and streamlining of existing account
- Set up Payroll for three employees
- Teach the ED basics of maintaining Quikbooks Account once updated

GLOBAL GIRL MEDIA (GGM) seeks to address this "gender digital divide" by supplying the equipment, education and support necessary to help young women create up-loadable, short-format videos that can bring awareness of their specific needs and lives to the broader web and social media community, while at the same time play a strategic role in improving their situation. We firmly believe that working with young women around the world to find and share their authentic voice is an investment in our global future.
