As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Great American Book Festival needs your help to bring this dynamic community-driven event to the Black Hills once again. We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:

5/10 - Conference Photographer to capture candid event snapshots (need not be professional)
5/10 - Tech Support for Literary Agent Pitch Sessions via live video conference
5/10 - Writers' Conference Greeters / Check-in
5/11 - Sign Holders
5/11 - Author Reading Scheduling Support
5/11 - Book Festival Photographer to capture candid event snapshots (need not be professional)
5/11 - Artists for Face Painting Booth
5/11 - Game Booth Attendants
5/11 - Book Festival Information Booth
5/11 - Retail Clerk for GABfest Merchandise
5/12 - Servers for Literary Awards Gala, private function

Description

BOOK FESTIVAL * WRITERS' CONFERENCE * LIT-THEMED PUB CRAWL * LITERARY AGENT PITCH SESSIONS Authors from around the globe will be in attendance at the Great American Book Festival. All conference events will be held in downtown Rapid City, with the book festival taking place in Rapid City's Main Street Square . The Book Festival and most events are FREE and open to the public.
