We need a volunteer to help in our headquarters Mail Room. Sorting and distributing mail and learning how to meter mail. There are other behind the scenes clerical projects too, if interested.
If you have good attention to detail; this is the volunteer opportunity for you.
It would be great to have help either in the mornings or in the afternoons (Monday through Friday during 9 am-4 pm) for a couple of hours once a week or longer if you would like to help with other projects.
On weeks when we have lots of mail we may need help delivering mail to the post office (3 miles away) in OUR Vitalant vehicle. Must have good driving records and valid CA drivers license.
You must be at least 25 YEARS OLD for insurance purposes and we are interested in someone helping long term (at least 6 months).

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
