We offer training, flexibility, and a wide variety of opportunities to match your interests and skills


We need volunteers who can help within these areas:

  • AARF house helpers/cleaners

  • Help with website management (updating calendar, event page updates)

  • Someone to design event flyers (formal training not necessary but should have design experience)

  • Cat and dog fostering

  • Cat adoption counselors

  • Helpers at AARF during vet checks (early evenings)

  • Assist with Saturday cat adoption fairs both at the AARF house and off-site locations

Description

An all volunteer, not-for-profit organization seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals. AARF is governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by dozens of volunteers who work endlessly to implement the mission of the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation. AARF was organized in 1995 as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization to enhance the living conditions of animals in Forsyth and surrounding counties.
