Job Summary:
The Development team at the American Red Cross is seeking an individual to participate in major database management, fiscal year planning, and strategy planning for the Northwest Region. This internship will provide the individual with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet industry expectations and standards, all while gaining experience within a nationally recognized non-profit.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the research and planning of upcoming events
- Update and maintain Salesforce
- Assist with event logistics and coordination
- Assists with gift processing, including daily gift log, bundling and mailing gifts to processing center.
- Assists with creating and tracking invoices for corporate donors when needed.
- Collaborate with Development team
- Assist with special projects and related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate student
- Majoring in Communications, Non-profit Management, or related studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
