We are looking for volunteers to assist with our After-School Program that takes place Monday-Thursday from 3-5 pm. The days and hours for the volunteer opportunity are completely flexible, and I understand that volunteers may not be able to come every day. We have approximately 10 children from families in need in Raleigh who attend the program, so we are looking for someone who is good with children and enjoys helping with homework (especially math!) and can help create and implement fun/educational activities.
About PROJECT ACCESS INC
2100 W ORANGEWOOD AVE STE 230, ORANGE, CA 92868, US
To be the leading provider of vital on-site health, education, and employment services to low-income families, children, and seniors. Our goal is to give low-income families the tools needed to break the cycle of poverty, become healthier, further educated and financially stable.
Project Access envisions that all residents of affordable housing communities have the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency and maximize their full potential.
We offer After School Programming for Elementary and Middle/High School Students. As well as offer ESL classes for adults in the community. On the fun aspect we host Monthly Community Engagement Events so that the residents are able to interact and network with their neighbors.
We have a growing request for computer classes for adults and would like to launch that as well as a Zumba class for the mothers. So we are in search for volunteers with those backgrounds.
The ultimate goal is to provide successful, beneficial, and fun programs for all of our residents.
We'll work with your schedule.
