Christmas is the time of year to be with the ones you love and care for. It is also a time to reflect on life and to be grateful for everything that we have: friends, family, roofs over our heads, health, and food. Unfortunately, there are many people in our community that are less fortunate, and do not have these essential things in their lives.
Why wait until Christmas to give back to those in need!
Come out to Washington, DC and help us hand out care packages composed of food and supplies to stay cool during the hot summer months. We need all the hands we can get (over 500 care packages to be handed out)!

While attending this event, you will also be supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). All ticket sales raised from this event will go towards a fundraising event called "Light the Night Walk" in Reston Town Center. This is an annual event held in October which funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS has a goal of raising $1 Million which will go towards providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering cancer research to eliminate Leukemia and Lymphoma.
100% of money raised from Barbera Foundation Events (less PayPal and Credit Card Fees) from 5.15.19 to 10.1.19 will go to support fellow Barbera Foundation Volunteer, Brittany Mahat, in her efforts to raise $25k for this cause.

Barbera Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote positive change by inspiring others to engage in the community and help those less fortunate.
I n order to accomplish this mission, Barbera Foundation organizes a wide variety of events that unite people from all walks of life. From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
The success of the Barbera Foundation relies 100% on volunteer and donor contributions. As a result, we need YOUR help!
