We have the two charity tournaments that we will be hosting at Seacrest Sports Complex located at 2505 Seacrest Blvd, Delray Beach, FL 3344. The first one is "Clash for Cancer" scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, and the second one is "Bash at the Beach" which is a two-day event scheduled for June 1st & 2nd, 2019. Bash at the Beach is a charity lacrosse tournament that helps to support local youth who would like to play lacrosse at the recreational, travel and showcase levels. Last year we sent players from over 25 different Florida high schools to showcase events that otherwise would not have been able to participate due to financial reasons. Scheduled on June 1 & 2. 2019 We are celebrating our 6th year for this event and we could really use your help! We have volunteer positions available in two shifts: 7:30am-1pm, 12pm-6:30pm with BONUS incentives for working double shifts or both days and both events. The duties include scorekeeping, timekeeping, placing extra balls at fields, clean up, delivering scores back to the information booth, to name a few. Contact soflgrl@gmail.com or 561-376-2399.

Through monies raised through our charity events, we've donated over $100,000.00 to local families in need and funded lacrosse opportunities for kids throughout Florida.

Description
Riptide Lacrosse is a non-profit youth lacrosse organization that produces two charity lacrosse tournaments that directly benefit the community they serve:
Clash for Cancer 100% of the proceeds from this tournament goes to families in need. Additionally, we work hard to keep the expenses of this tournament to an insane minimum - even the referees to donate their time - so that we can give more to the families. Last year we were able to donate over $22k to several different local families including the Coach Combs' family of Vero Beach High School and Jerry Balaker, manager of Lacrosse Unlimited in Boca. We are really hoping to surpass that this year!! Local youth organizations are encouraged to form their own fun teams to participate. Past attendees can attest to the fact that we provide a well managed, safe yet competitive 7 v 7 format.
