6K for Water Glen Ellyn - Help our walkers cross the finish line!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Team World Vision

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We need you to help our runners and walkers safely cross the finish line of World Vision's Global 6K for Water!

This event is hosted across 1,000 locations in 23 countries - all on a single day in the name of clean water. Every participant brings clean water to ONE person through the work of World Vision. Join us in bringing clean water and all the fullness of life it brings!

We're expecting over 350 runners and walkers here on the streets of Glen Ellyn on Saturday, May 4th. We would love for you to help us pull off this event by serving as a course marshal - ensuring runners and walkers stay safely within the course, as well as cheering them on!

Further instruction will be provided!

Saturday, May 4th
6:30-10:30AM
Parkview Community Church
764 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137

Why a 6K instead of a 5K? 6K is the average distance someone in the developing world walks for water.

If you have any questions, I'd love to chat!
