The volunteers will be assigned activity centers to run. The campers will receive support at each station by KU students. The volunteers need to explain the activity and organize the materials for each group of campers who rotate through the centers. The volunteers will receive explicit directions.

Mission Statement
The Sertoma-Schiefelbusch Communication Camp is a collaborative effort between the Lawrence Sertoma Club and the Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at The University of Kansas. The Communication Camp brings together children with and without communication challenges to explore their world and improve their communication skills while participating in camp activities. The camp is staffed by students and faculty from the Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.
Description
The Schiefelbusch Clinic has been on the KU campus since 1949. We have collaborated with the Lawrence Sertoma Club to host Communication Camp for 17 years.

- Must be at least 16
- The camp has 2 sessions, 9- noon and 1-4pm. Camp runs June 17-21 and June 24-28th. Volunteers are welcome to volunteer for the whole 2 weeks, a week, or even one session.
- Be ready to meet some amazing children.
