Join us behind the scenes at the One Walk by donating your time to help us put on a successful event! Without our volunteers, our families would not be able to celebrate their T1D One Walk journey on walk day. JDRF focuses on providing support to children and adults diagnosed with Type One Diabetes(T1D). T1D is not preventable and we fund researchers to learn why people get the disease and to one day be able to cure it. Our walk is an annual fundraiser for the T1D community to come together and support one another and raise funds for a cure.

Greeters, age 14+, 7:15am-9:30am(11am if you would like to stay as a cheerleader), 4 volunteers needed
Greeters will be working near the registration zone welcoming families as they arrive and providing them with donation envelopes, answering walk day questions, etc.

Registration, age 18+, 6:45am-10:30am, 5 volunteers needed
Registration volunteers will be receiving donations from walkers and distributing t-shirt ticket or other incentives for those who raised over a specific dollar amount. Must be 18 years old due to cash handling.

V1P Tent, age 16+, 7am-12pm, 2 volunteers needed
Walkers who raise a minimum of $1,000 earn the V1P status on walk day. They get access to this exclusive tent with fun activities and food available just to them. Volunteers in this station will help provide the V1P experience.

Photographers, 7:45am-11am, 2 needed
We can never capture enough pictures of our events. If you have your own equipment and enjoy taking photos, we are looking for volunteer photographers to capture some memories.
