Emergency Preparedness Simulation
ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services
Please visit the new page to apply.
We all know how devastating large scale emergencies and natural disasters can be to a community. Luckily, Larimer County is taking action to prepare its first responders for such events. Volunteers are needed at two locations for an emergency-preparedness exercise organized by Larimer County's first responder agencies. The exercise will simulate local emergency response to a large-scale incident that requires a large medical response.
Volunteers are needed to help with registration on the day of the event from 7:00 - 8:30. Afterwards, volunteers are welcome to stay and participate in the simulation as people seeking help. This is a great way for the community to come together to prepare, learn, and engage with one another.
