We are looking for responsible and dedicated adult volunteers with a passion for community service to join our heath care teams.

Whether you want to give back to the community, need to complete service hours, or simply enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, our volunteer program offers many opportunities to fit your talents, skills, and interests.

Our volunteers are a vital part of our mission to improve the health of our community. Volunteers are able to create personal schedules that work best for balance.

Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers
Medical Center volunteer can volunteer at any location nearest for commuting. Volunteer assignments are non-clinical and non-clerical, and may include:

  • Welcoming members
  • Concierge services
  • Wayfinding
  • Wheelchair distribution
  • Waiting room support
  • Inter-department transfers

Kaiser Permanente Musicians:
Are you able to play a tone of two or three? Consider joining KP volunteer team to support Oncology patients. All musician experiences must be at least once a month, 1 hour duration, during Monday-Friday, between 8am-12pm.

2. Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center
3. Capitol Hill Medical Center
4. Gaithersburg Medical Center
6. Tysons Corner Medical Center
7. Caton Hill

Volunteer and Musician Requirements:

  • Meet the age requirements
  • Adult Applicants - ages 16 years and older.
  • Commit to a 4-hour shift, once a week
  • Communicate effectively in English
  • Successful completion of background investigation
  • Complete initial health screening
  • Meet the physical and behavioral requirements
  • Complete new volunteer orientation
