Help create memories for campers with life-altering medical conditions! Taking place in Summer of 2019, Summer Sessions allow kids with medical conditions experience the magic of Camp! Summer camp serves children ages 7-18, unless otherwise noted, with a life-altering medical condition. Campers sleep overnight from Monday to Friday.
Camp Korey is seeking volunteer photographers to capture pictures and video of campers during program activities. Your support with photography will help camp by:
- letting us provide high-quality pictures to camper families to memorialize their experience
- giving the organization a repository of current images as we thank supporters and use in marketing to advance our mission
Program Dates In Need of Photographers:
Session 1- June 24-28: Craniofacial
Session 2- June 30th - July 3rd: Siblings
Session 3- July 8-12: General with Dermatology focus
Session 4- July 15-19: General
Session 5- July 22-26: Solid Organ Transplant
Session 6- July 29-Aug 2: General with Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine focus
Session 7- Aug 5-9: Skeletal Dysplasia
Session 8- Aug 12-16: General with Oncology focus
We are flexible on hours you are available, but hoping you can come for the same amount of time for each of the full days of camp (most weeks that is Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
We will provide a shot list for guidance upon volunteer engagement.
You will need to provide your own camera/equipment. Photography students are welcome; photos you take as a camp volunteer can be used for your portfolio upon review. Lunch will be provided on the day(s) you are at camp and if you need - we can work out housing if you would like to stay!

Mission Statement
Camp Korey's mission is to honor the courage, strength and determination of children and their families living with life-altering medical conditions by providing them with a transformational experience in a fun, safe camp environment with specialized medical support.
Description
Camp Korey offers children and families an escape from the endless medical treatments that have overshadowed childhood. Campers grow stronger, braver, and build leadership skills that they take into their everyday lives. Our campers have reported an increase in self-esteem, confidence and resilience, along with a network of friends and support to help them through the tough times. We work with a dedicated team of medical professionals and program facilitators to create a medically safe camp adventure. Camp is always free to campers and their families, thanks to our volunteers, donors and supporters.
