We are looking for assistants to help us with our Summer Art Camp. It will be so much fun!

Our camp will have arts and crafts, music, dance, theater, expression and LOTS of fun! Campers will be in groups of 10 as not to overwhelm the volunteers. Volunteers will also be with a Camp Director at all times.

We need help on the following dates:
Weeks of June 15, June 22, every week in July, and single days on Aug. 3 & 4!

You can volunteer for 1/2 the day or the full day and you don't have to commit to all the dates but we do ask that you commit to when you will come and then show up!

Please fill out our volunteer application at drawchange.org/volunteerapp and let us know how many days you can commit to and during what times. We are specifically looking for adults to volunteer for this event.

Mission Statement

Drawchange is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to aid global change by supplying the world's children with empowering art experiences. Together we can provide the programs that allow them to effectively visualize a better life for themselves.

Description

Our vision is to provide the tools neccesary so each child has the ability to fully express themselves.

Art is a vehicle to reach out to students. Engaging them with art enriches their study with all other curriculum subjects. Our strategy is aimed to spark the energy of world peace by igniting the passion of learning in the world’s children.

In using the research based principles of integrating the arts in the general curriculum, we hope to increase self-esteem and thinking skills in children to help them become better world citizens. Wherever there is a need, drawchange wants to be there providing art supplies.
