There is an Acro-Cats show in April (going for four days) at the Paseo Nuevo mall that is providing a per ticket donation for ZenByCat.
Would you be interested in signing up for some community service hours that would benefit a great cause?
Volunteers are getting a free ZenByCat shirt in addition to the 4 community service hours, and get to watch the cat show for free during the performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFsNGOVj71I
Here are all the dates/times:
4/24 5pm - 9pm
4/25 5pm - 9pm
4/26 5pm - 9pm
4/27 1pm - 5pm and 5pm - 9pm
4/28 4pm - 8pm and 8pm - midnight
Below are the volunteer positions offered.
* Loading in the show : the shift before the very first show shift, some heavy lifting needed. Help bring in the gear and set up the stage, lobby, and dressing room areas.
* Ushers: right before shows help people to their seats, get seat assignments sorted out, as well as help crowd control during the meet and greet after the show.
* Box office: before the show, checking tickets and will call lists at the door/box office.
* Cat people on stage: After the show, you will be on stage helping with the cat-band. Vests and cat ears (provided) will be required! For those volunteers who love to be in front of a crowd!
* Merchandise: right before and after the show selling merchandise. This is a people person job.
* Cat loading in and break times: before the first show and in between shows.
* Cat ear sales person: right before the show selling cat ears. For those volunteers who love to be in front of a crowd!
* The cats green rooms and stage cleaning: either before the first show each day or after the last show per day as needed.
* Loading out cats back to their bus: right after the last show, each day.
* Merchandise making: each day times vary depending on availability. Arts and crafsty types needed here!
* Loading out the show: help break down and clean carriers as well as help clean the stage props, pack bags and bins, and carry items out to the bus. This is right after the last show.

Mission Statement
ZenByCat is dedicated to raising both awareness and money to help fight against FIP and save cat’s lives. Our goal is to find a cure and show how living with cats improves both human and feline lives. Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) affects up to 2% of kittens and was 100% fatal until now.
Description
ZenByCat was created specifically to raise money to help researchers bring the breakthrough drug that saved Smokey, along with other drugs like it, to market and help all cats that face FIP have the same chance of life as Smokey. ZenByCat has no paid employees and is dedicated to ending this truly horrendous disease. 90% of revenue raised goes directly to funding a cure for FIP, with only 10% reserved for overhead awareness and fundraising. (This means that you can know that you’re money is going directly to fund research on FIP). This is an exciting time for us, with the breakthrough drug discovered we can end FIP. We are asking people to sign up for $10 monthly donations as this is the best way to help researchers receive a steady revenue stream. Just two cups of starbucks coffee a month from thousands of forever humans would make a huge difference. Please help us end FIP and donate today.
