The Walk for Hospice brings together families in our community to remember a loved one while raising funds for Hospice of the South Shore.

We are looking for volunteers for, Saturday, May 30th to help in a variety of ways at the event; water station support along the walk route, registration, children's area, vendors tables, memorial wall and games.
We also need: Face-painters, balloon twisters, cheerleaders and photographers.

The event is from 7-10am, but volunteers would need to help from 6-11am. This ensures we have volunteers in place before guests arrive, and we will need help breaking down.

We also have an opportunity for Friday, May 29th in the afternoon. We will be trying to set-up most of the event the night before. Need help putting out tables, chairs, 10x10 tents, registration and signage.

Both days you will receive community service hours.

More details about the event:
This inspirational morning is filled with supporters coming together to help Hospice patients and their families and emceed by Duke Castiglione from WCVB. Complete with an outdoor walk, vendors and touching stories we hope to raise $170,000 to provide end-of-life care and bereavement services to more than 700 families on the South Shore. These funds allow no patient to be turned away regardless of their ability to pay.
