The Center of Concern has formed a new volunteer program for teens. It will provide a framework for high school students to plan, organize and participate in opportunities to serve the elderly and less fortunate in their own community.
The Center of Concern is a local organization with a variety of programs aimed at serving residents struggling with challenges related to aging, homelessness and access to resources to remain independent in their homes. we are currently looking for teens interested in becoming a part of their network of community service. Meetings would occur on a weekly basis through ZOOM where participants would help plan and execute on a variety of service opportunities. It is a great way to help others in a group setting, and the commitment is flexible. All we ask is that participants come ready to contribute their ideas and their time.
Great activity for teens looking for service hours and resume builders!
