We are an assisted living facility located in East Hollywood, looking for someone to come lead a mediation group for some of our elderly residents. This opportunity can done just once, or we can make it an ongoing activity. It is whatever works best for you!
We have had a couple of meditation groups so far, and the residents really seem to respond well to the relaxing nature of the activity. The residents have asked for the groups to continue, so I am hoping to find a few volunteers who would be eager to bring the gift of meditation to them!
The time and day of the meditation can be adjusted to help work around your schedule.

Description
We strive to make smiles occur even on the gloomiest of days. We would like to begin implementing a volunteer program to give residents another thing to look forward too.
We are seeking volunteers of all ages to perform for the residents (i.e. singing, playing an instrument, magic, dance, etc.) during the week days.
