Do you enjoy working with the public? Does genealogy and local history interest you? This volunteer position may be right for you!
A volunteer is needed to assist in updating the CCHS Newspaper index with new information from the latest issues. Volunteer will read newspapers for info, add to index cards, and alphabetize. Position will involve specific tasks, including alphabetizing, filing, sorting, and reading newspapers.

Description
Established in 1940, the Carver County Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Carver County, Minnesota. We share local history with visitors and residents through museum exhibits, traveling exhibits in the county's libraries, a local research library, and family, adult and children's education programs.
