Turkey Creek Litter Cleanup

Great Opportunity for Groups!
Volunteer to clean up litter with us along Turkey Creek near 75th and Frontage Road in Overland Park! Do you know where litter goes? Litter in streets and parking lots flow into storm drains, which then empty into local creeks and rivers. In other words, if it’s on the ground, it’s in our water! Be part of the solution by volunteering to clean up litter along the creek! There may be opportunities to get into shallow water for folks who bring their waterproof boots.
We will provide litter grabbers, safety vests, trash bags and gloves.
Min age: 11, with supervising adult. 16 and older may volunteer on their own.
