East Somerville Main Streets in collaboration with the Somerville Arts Council and the City of Somerville Somerstreets will host its 10 th annual CARNAVAL on Sunday, June 2 nd from 2pm-6pm on Broadway.
Last year the festival attracted about 6,000 visitors from East Somerville and the greater Boston area, making it the most successful Carnaval to date! Description
"When East Somerville Main Streets started, each business worked more or less alone to grow. At the start, East Somerville Main Streets worked to build a relationship with each of the restaurant owners and then to bring us together as a community. Problem-solving has gotten a lot easier. We now solve our problems through communicating; we know who to talk to or where to address something and we can speak through one voice." - Befekadu Defar, Owner of Fasika
