A Precious Child’s Satellite Boutiques Need You!Our offsite Boutiques are in need of individuals with a leadership mindset and a passion to help others. Apply your managerial and organizational skills to A Precious Child and help us serve thousands of children across the state!
A Precious Child's Boutiques are satellite resource centers that are located in schools and shelters and are dedicated to providing basic essentials for children in need. Through A Precious Child's main Donation Center in Broomfield, we stock schools and agency partner Boutique locations with age-appropriate clothing. Our goal is to meet the need where it's at by providing clothing and other basic essentials to children in need so they can thrive in school.
Boutique Volunteers play an important role in making sure that each of our boutique locations continues to serve children and families with basic essentials through an empowering shopping experience. Volunteers will ensure that their assigned boutique locations have the inventory that they need to continue to serve clients. This position assists the Store Manager by shopping in the resource center when needed to complete inventory requests, works close with Store Manager to deliver, replenish and organize areas throughout the boutique and ensures all boutiques provide a dignified shopping experience to children and families in need.
The time commitment is very flexible and will depend on organizational and staff needs. However, we ask that volunteers be able to provide a six-month commitment and willing to lead at least two or more Boutique locations. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented and enjoy working with the public. Description
A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations, and poverty. We work with more than 300 agency partners throughout eight counties which include Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child, in addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center, we also help children and their families navigate community resources.
We aim to bridge the gap in a child’s education so that they can become a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community as adults.
