Do you enjoy reading, sharing stories, or bringing them out in others? Poems, novels, short stories, personal experiences, or jokes... What makes you happy to discuss could brighten someone else's whole week.
We are seeking an incredible person to join our team and spend quality 1-on-1 time with a single resident on our memory care unit. With the many challenges in this woman's life, we continue to be amazed at her positive spirit and good attitude. Due to severe eyesight deficits she is unable to fully participate in every activity, however she has a heart of gold and loves a good conversation.
This is a great opportunity for a low-pressure first time volunteer, or an adult who wants to bring their kid to practice reading aloud and having some socialization.

Sage Meadow Senior Living provides personal cares, an excellent dining experience, medication administration, and daily programming. We are always looking for compassionate people who are interested in helping make a resident's last chapter as wonderful as possible.
Due to current healthcare considerations we are not able to accept in-person volunteers, but we have many other socially distant options available!
