Camp Trusted Parents

Due to COVID-19, last year we had cancel our summer camp program; however, we realized the effect closing our camp had on the population of campers we serve. So for 2021, we decided it was important for us to host our summer camp with the necessary COVID regulatory procedures needed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our camp participates. AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Do you want to make an impact in the life of a child with special needs? If so, Camp Trusted Parents is where you want to be! Our program offers a socialize opportunity where our campers can feel safe and accepted. We make an iconic summer camp experience available to children and teens, whose challenges may prevent their participation in the traditional camp setting. Our vision is to create an environment which fosters new friendships, sparks the imagination, and develop independence for our campers; all while, having fun learning new skills and engaging in exciting activities.

Our campers will engage in sports, music, dance, arts and crafts, nature studies, field trips, recreational therapeutic activities, and so much more. Every camper will experience a new and unique adventure every week at Camp Trusted Parents!!!

Camp volunteers will assist with the following activities:

  • Theme specific weeks of fun learning and recreational activities
