As always, we follow the protocols based on the most recent guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Camp Association (ACA), and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). However, with guidance changing constantly, we plan to update our COVID-19 protocols as recommended.
Do YOU want to make an impact in the lives of children and/or young adults diagnosis with special healthcare needs? If so, Camps at Trusted Parents is where you want to be! Our programs offers a socialize opportunity where our campers can feel safe and accepted. We make an iconic summer camp experience available to children, teens, and young adults whose challenges may prevent their participation in the traditional camp setting. Our vision is to create an environment which fosters new friendships, sparks the imagination, and develop independence for our participants; all while, having fun learning new skills and engaging in exciting activities.
Our campers will engage in sports, music, dance, arts and crafts, nature studies, field trips, recreational activities, and so much more. Every camper will experience a new and unique adventure every week at Camps at Trusted Parents!!!
Camp volunteers will assist with the following activities:
- Theme specific weeks of fun learning and recreational activities
- Before and After Camp Care
