Beauty is still important, no matter your age!
Many of our seniors enjoy getting manicures and keeping their look fresh and bright. Getting their nails clipped, filed, and painted is the highlight of many resident's weeks! Even through the dementia and memory loss, our residents frequently see their fingers and smile in the days following a caring manicure. Their self-confidence skyrockets! With increased confidence, residents are more likely to join in other activities and engage with their peers.
Share your skills with these wonderful women. Get to know them and you will see their loving appreciation for being pampered once in a while!
Dementia specific orientation as well as nail-care specific training will be provided.
