Are you good at following along with nonsensical conversations? Bringing people out of their shells? Enjoy making things up out of thin air?
We are looking for people with good go-with-the-flow instincts that can navigate interactions with a few of our residents. These are people with varying stages of dementia, who have more complicated challenges with conversation.
Must be comfortable with periods of silence! Whether you're looking for a challenge or you have a natural skill for bringing out the chatter box in people, we will work with you to find the right fit. Sometimes games, art, books, or music can be used to assist an interaction into going well. Other times it's just about having someone sitting next to you that can be comforting.

Sage Meadow Senior Living provides personal cares, an excellent dining experience, medication administration, and daily programming. We are always looking for compassionate people who are interested in helping make a resident's last chapter as wonderful as possible.
Due to current healthcare considerations we are not able to accept in-person volunteers, but we have many other socially distant options available!
