For 65 years the MDA has partnered with the IAFF fire fighters) to raise donations for the MDA through the Fill the Boot program. Each year, more than 100,000 fire fighters, go beyond the call of duty, and hit the streets in their communities, asking their neighbors to fill their boot with contributions to the MDA. Donations raised by the fire fighters have played a vital role in funding research for muscular dystrophy and helping to provide care for individuals and families living with muscle disease.
We are looking for volunteers to support the fire fighters with their Fill the Boot efforts.

As an MDA volunteer, you’ll serve as the driving force that helps families in hometowns across America. You’ll make experiences like MDA Summer Camp, fundraising events, seminars and many more possible for individuals with muscular dystrophy who are counting on us.
