High School Volunteer Leadership Program-Spartanburg: Summer Session
ORGANIZATION: The Children's Museum of the Upstate
Please visit the new page to apply.
A volunteer program for high school students, the Leadership Program allows teens to build critical thinking and leadership skills while working closely with museum staff. Beyond gaining critical knowledge about informal education for children from birth to age 5, volunteers will learn about specific program content, from science to art!
The application period for the summer session is open, and Saturdays are the focus! Students assist with Open Art, use exhibits to play with visitors, and more!
The volunteer commitment consists of a monthly training, Saturday volunteer shifts, and camps (Monday mornings, only), which roughly equals a 16-hour commitment.
