Volunteer purpose

To promote world peace through the interpretation of the Sadako Sasaki story and the reconciliation between Japan and the US.

Duties and responsibilities

The volunteer provides instructions and assistance on folding an origami paper crane to the visitors of Pearl Harbor National Memorial. While doing so, the volunteer will share the story of Sadako Sasaki and promote Sadako's crane that was donated to the National Park Service by her brother and is displayed in the Road to War museum.
