A courier position organizing and distributing clinical specimens and documentation to laboratory departments and registration areas; an active position requiring attention to detail and time management skills.

Health care experience is not necessary but the volunteer must feel comfortable in a medical setting.

Volunteers must complete a TST (Tuberculosis) screening and have a flu shot in flu season which are offered at no charge. A negative criminal back ground check is needed and is also offered at no charge. Volunteers wear a volunteer jacket which is purchased thru the hospital for $22. Free self and valet parking is available.

This opportunity is avaialble on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoons from 3pm - 5pm.
